Continuing Education

Massage professionals, bodyworkers, and others who meet the prerequisites and wish to take classes for personal and professional enhancement may do so on an individual basis.  We refer to this as an A la Carte class. 

Participants in courses are responsible for ascertaining whether the course satisfies their jurisdiction’s specific Continuing Education requirements, if there are any. 

Anyone wishing to take a workshop like this must submit proof of previous massage or other education meeting any prerequisites (official transcripts), a valid government issued ID, high school transcripts or evidence of completion, be at least 18 years old, complete a brief application, a promissory note and school policies agreement, and pay the non-refundable deposit to secure a spot in the class. A spot will not be held until these steps are completed. Students must pay the balance of the tuition, and any materials fees if applicable, as agreed upon in the promissory note (by the start of the class). 

We also ask that you schedule a visit the school for a tour and to meet with staff prior to class. If you are unable to come in person, we can hold a Zoom meeting or FaceTime call so you can see the classroom and office before registration. 

A la Carte class cancellation policy: 

If a student cancels a class with less than 7 days' notice, or does not

show up to class, the $100.00 non-refundable deposit will be charged/forfeit. If more than 7 days' notice is given the student may request the $100.00 deposit be transferred as the deposit toward

another class or towards tuition due within 12-months. If C.H.I. cancels a class due to an emergency or low enrollment, the deposit will be refunded within 30-days.
