The 200-Hour Massage Practitioner Program is designed to give students an in-depth experiential into the world of therapeutic massage. This is a good entrance point for anyone wanting to get a feel for the industry without committing to the whole 500-Hour Massage Therapist Program. It is also the entrance point for anyone wanting to come into the 500-hour program. A total of six (3 day & 3 evening) courses will be offered over the course of one year (starting in January, May, and September).
After completing the 200 Hour Program a student may decide to continue into the 500-hour Massage Therapist Program. In this case, the 200 hours will apply towards the 500-hour program and students would complete an additional 300 hours.

2024 500 - Hour Massage Therapist Program:
California Holistic Institute's 500-hour Massage Therapist Program meets all of the requirements necessary to become a “Certified Massage Therapist” with the state of California.
Once a student successfully completes our 500-hour program they are eligible to apply to California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC) for state certification. Please note there will be additional requirements with CAMTC to complete the application process (www.CAMTC.org). CHI's CAMTC School Approval Code is SCH0012. Students may enter this program at any time of the year, after completing CHI's 200-Hour Massage Practitioner Program.
Students with previous massage education that has been approved by CAMTC may continue their education here at California Holistic Institute. CHI does not transfer any previous training into our 200- or 500-hour programs. Students can accumulate their 500 hours from more than one CAMTC-approved school; however, it is CAMTC that determines if your previous education is accepted. Massage professionals can take individual classes for personal and professional enhancement.
All of the classes here at CHI are included in our 500-hour program, which is approved by CAMTC. Once we meet with you, we will determine which program will be most appropriate to begin your training with us.
